A body & wines

Verso House

Discover the world of À corps & vins and let yourself be seduced by this unique sensory experience on our microsite www.acorps.vin

À corps & vins is an immersive 90-minute experience where tasting and performance intertwine. Guided by a Quebec sommelier and four performers, the audience explores a unique dialogue between wine and dance. Each glass served throughout the evening is synchronized with a choreographic sequence, creating a gustatory and artistic experience. The audience, comfortably seated, doesn't dance: they taste, they contemplate, and they journey.

The performance transforms the theater into an ephemeral terroir, where the wine breathes through contact with movement. In this sensory setting, the wines slowly reveal themselves, guided by a seasoned sommelier whose wisdom flows naturally. Each glass is paired with a choreographic score, where bodies, sometimes robust, sometimes velvety, infuse the space with textures and nuances.

From the minerality of a white wine to the heady bouquet of a red, À corps & vins journeys through a spectrum of aromas and dynamics. The crispness of a brisk step, the graceful movement of an arm, the persistence of a gaze: all contribute to a tasting where the art of winemaking converses with that of the interpreters. Here, tannin is embodied in the gravity of gestures, acidity in the precision of a leap, and mellowness in a suspended breath.
