Who are we, trapped in a bird's body without the possibility of flight?

Choreographer Yvann Alexandre imagines a remote Lac des "signes" ("Signs" Lake), an enclosed expanse in which a desire for liberation emerges. In a chiaroscuro atmosphere, populated by sounds that evoke the vitality of an unruly Amazonian forest, the bodies allow themselves to be swept through by states of flow. Carried away by a whirlwind of ambiguities, each of the performers defends the vision of a work that only blossoms between combat and resilience. It's the desire for skin that prevails, that pierces and stuns, like a crossbow bolt leaving us with the echo of our inner Lake of Flesh.
